The author also used images to explain the grammar. The explanation of the grammar point like "how to use Will, Preposition, Phrasal Verbs etc" is on the left page and exercise related to that grammar point is on the right side. There is not too much theory in the book. But this is not a traditional grammar book. Great book to read if you want to improve your English grammar. There are still more to learn with these series: There are " in Use" books available, which I'm gonna study for sure!. When someone asks me for a reference to learn English, I always say "Grammar in Use is the best choice! Just go check the contents of each book, and start with the one that you think is suitable for you."

Additional exercises at the end to review some parts I read it once at the new year's holidays, and though I might need to review it later (which I did recently). I first bought it about 8 years ago, when my English teacher at school recommended it.
